NORTH CAROLINA ARTCC ZONES MAP

This is a map of voice radio ground transmitter locations used by ARTCCs to communicate with aircraft flying over North Carolina.
There are three ARTCCs that control the airspace over North Carolina.

It is NOT a complete list.

Atlanta ARTCC (ZTL)---buff zone

Jacksonville ARTCC (ZJX)---pink zone

Washington ARTCC (ZDC)---green zone

The location listed is the site of the ARTCC ground based transmitter.
You will hear aircraft in the air talking TO the ARTCC,
BUT unless you are close to the ground transmitter,
you will not hear transmissions FROM the ARTCC.
